Dog training is such a unique thing because there are usually many ways to teach the same thing, and every dog will respond to things differently. I try to take advantage of this by learning as many different methods as I can. Below you'll find a list of different programs and seminars I have taken to give you an idea of who you'll be working with.
Training Experience
Dog Training Apprentice
Under Lisa Lucero of Dog Dynamix
Educated on numerous dog training skills/methods (e.g., Basic Obedience, Behavior Modification, E-Collar Obedience, Agility, Fly-Ball, Rally-O, Mondioring/IGP (protection sports), Nosework, etc.). Educated on dog care, proper cleaning, running a dog training business, etc. Responsible for feeding, exercising, medicating, grooming, and training boarding dogs. Also took classes with my personal dogs. Trained private clients and held "Drop-in" classes.
Training Education
Todd Dunlap - Watched some of his mondioring seminars during my apprenticeship in CO. Attended his How Dogs Learn seminar in Hadley, PA. Attended some West Penn Mondioring club days as a spectator and trained with other trainers associated with Todd in Rochester, PA at Bite CO.
